Therapy Services:
Adult psychotherapy services consist of 60-minute sessions that are based on the client’s individual needs and specific goals: The first sessions begin with an assessment of needs and collaborative treatment planning with the client. Thereafter, the sessions focus on targeting specific treatment goals and periodically evaluating the progress of goals both from the therapist and client’s perspective.
Child and Adolescent psychotherapy services consist of either 45- or 60-minute sessions and include regular caregiver consultation, as well as periodic collateral consultation with other providers or school if needed. The first sessions begin with an assessment of needs and collaborative treatment planning with the client and caregiver. Thereafter, the sessions focus on targeting specific treatment goals and periodically evaluating the progress of goals from the therapist’s and client’s/caregiver’s perspectives.

School Consultation:
Dr. Quiñones provides school-based consultation to assist schools in the evaluation and possible restructuring of their current operations to better address the psychosocial and mental health challenges that interfere in student’s learning and development. Consultation aims to help schools build the capacity to sustain effective behavioral supports and programs and address future problems as they arise. Consultation goals are developed in partnership with the school to address specific needs. Areas of focus include the following:
- Stress management and self-care
- Managing transitions within the organization
- Understanding Anxiety and Depression in the workplace
- Managing Work/Life balance and avoiding Burnout
Business Consultation, Training, and Group Workshops:
Dr. Quiñones provides consultation, training, and workshops to businesses and organizations in several areas to improve workplace culture, and wellness practices among staff and employees and increase productivity. Areas of focus include the following:
- Understanding of and managing mental health issues in the classroom
- Develop individual and classroom behavior support plans
- Identifying environmental or situational stressors in school that impact students with emotional or executive functioning impairments
- Stress management and self-care for school staff/faculty
- Building/sustaining effective and supportive school teams
